European Youth Week 2026 Event on Youth Resilience
ETHOS HUB announces the organisation of a two-day event under the framework of European Youth Week 2026, titled “All Together for Change”. The event will take place on April 25–26, 2026, combining an online seminar and an experiential outdoor activity.
On Saturday, April 25 (17:00–18:30), an online seminar will be held on the topic “Strengthening Youth Resilience”, focusing on practical approaches to enhancing young people’s mental well-being and coping skills. On Sunday, April 26 (10:00), participants will take part in an experiential activity at Lake Beletsi, including team-based exercises, group training, and a picnic in nature.
The activity is addressed to professionals working with youth and aims to promote resilience, self-awareness, and social connection through a combination of learning and hands-on experience, in collaboration with Acharnes Kung Fu.
Workshop at Chronos Tutoring Center on Learning Difficulties | ACCESS Project
ETHOS HUB announces the organisation of a workshop titled “Special Learning Difficulties: From Theory to Practice”, as part of the Erasmus+ project ACCESS. The workshop will be conducted in Greek and will take place on January 8, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 at Chronos Tutoring Center.
The activity targets educators interested in strengthening their ability to recognise and manage learning difficulties in general education settings. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore and pilot the ACCESS e-learning course “ACCESS in learning difficulties”, which provides practical guidance on targeted interventions, classroom management, and collaboration with families.
Workshop at Chronos Tutoring Center on Learning Difficulties and Foreign Language Teaching | FOCUS Project
ETHOS HUB announces the organisation of a workshop titled “Learning Difficulties and Foreign Language Teaching”, implemented in the framework of the Erasmus+ project FOCUS. The workshop will be conducted in Greek and will take place on January 8, from 10:00 to 11:00 at Chronos Tutoring Center.
The activity is addressed to educators interested in enhancing their skills in teaching foreign languages to students with learning difficulties. During the workshop, participants will explore inclusive teaching approaches, practical strategies, and tools that support diverse learning needs and promote active participation in the language classroom.
Workshop at Lakoniki Scholi on Learning Difficulties | ACCESS Project
ETHOS HUB announces the organisation of a workshop titled “Special Learning Difficulties: From Theory to Practice”, implemented in the framework of the Erasmus+ project ACCESS. The workshop will be conducted in Greek and will take place on December 16, 2025, from 17:00 to 18:00 at Lakoniki Scholi – Fragki Schools.
The activity is addressed to educators who wish to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in identifying, understanding, and supporting students with learning difficulties within mainstream classrooms. As part of the workshop, participants will be introduced to the ACCESS e-learning course “ACCESS in learning difficulties”, a training programme designed to equip teachers with practical tools, strategies, and approaches for inclusive education.

The workshop will be conducted in Greek and will take place on December 16, from 16:00 to 17:00 at Lakoniki Scholi – Fragki Schools.
The activity is addressed to educators who wish to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in supporting students with learning difficulties in foreign language learning. Participants will be introduced to inclusive methodologies, innovative teaching practices, and accessible tools that facilitate engagement and learning for all students.
Specialized Seminar in Special Education: Visual Perception Screening Tool (Α.Κ.Ο.Α. 5-7)
- We invite you to participate in the seminar “Specialized Seminar in Special Education: Visual Perception Screening Tool (Α.Κ.Ο.Α. 5-7)”. The seminar will be conducted in Greek and will take place on 18-19/01 and 01/02/2025 at Λακωνική Σχολή – Εκπαιδευτήρια Φραγκή. Upon completion of the seminar, participants will receive a Certificate of Adequacy.

A.K.O.A. 5-7 is the only Standardized Tool exclusively designed for assessing the perceptual abilities of children in preschool and early primary school years. It includes a series of individual tests standardized on a sample of 1,200 students. It was developed with the ultimate aim of serving as a Tool for all Professionals involved in the early Detection of Learning Difficulties.
Dissemination conference | UpCare Project
- We invite you to participate in the dissemination event for the UpCare project: “Upskilling social care professionals in local authorities to prevent gender based violence”. The event will be coordinated by Sofia Drosou, Psychologist (MSc) and President of Ethos-Hub. The activity will be conducted in Greek, with a total duration of two (2) hours, and will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the Acharnes Town Hall (Filadelfeias 87 & A. Focus Groups & Interviews for Foreign Language Teachers | FOCUS Project
- Invitation to participate in a focus group and interview for Foreign Language teachers, within the Erasmus+ project “FOCUS: Foreign Language Opportunities for Children with Unique Skills”. The focus group and the interview will be coordinated by Sofia Drosou, Psychologist (MSc) and Ethos-Hub president. The activity will be conducted in the English language, will have a total duration of two (2) hours and will take place on May 18, 2024 1 PM. at the Ethos-Hub (Thrakomakedonon 130, Acharnes 13672). A certificate of participation will be provided.

Workshop on gender-based and school violence | UpCare Project
- We invite parents of children attending primary schools in the Municipality of Acharnes to participate in an educational workshop on school and gender-based violence. The workshop will be conducted in Greek by Psychologist Sofia Drosou, MSc, and coordinator of the UpCare program. It will take place on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ethos-Hub premises (Thrakomakedonon 130, Acharnes). A certificate of participation will be provided.

Simulation training for parents | UpCare Project
- We invite parents of children attending primary schools in the Municipality of Acharnes to participate in a simulation training session as part of the UpCare project. The training will be conducted by health professionals (psychologists, social workers, nurses, etc.) who have been trained through the UpCare project. It will be held in Greek and will take place on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Acharnes Town Hall (Filadelfeias 87 & A. Bosda, Acharnes). A certificate of participation will be provided.

Kick off Meeting | UpCare Project
- We invite you to the Kick off meeting of the European project UpCare: Upskilling Health Professionals in Local Authorities to Prevent Gender-Based Violence, that will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 9:30 AM. The project is approved and co-funded by the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) and the European Union (EU). The event will take place at the Acharnes Town Hall.

As parents, it makes sense for all of us to have unanswered questions and challenges in managing our children’s emotions, especially at this unprecedented time. Questions, concerns, anxiety and limitations have penetrated our daily lives. What are the changes that affect our way of life in times of crisis?
