On December 16, 2025, ETHOS HUB successfully organised a workshop titled “Learning Difficulties and Foreign Language Teaching” at Lakoniki Scholi – Fragki Schools, in the framework of the European project FOCUS “Foreign Language Opportunities for Children with Unique Skills”.
The workshop brought together educators interested in strengthening their knowledge and skills in supporting students with learning difficulties in foreign language classrooms. Participants engaged in a constructive exchange of ideas and explored practical approaches to inclusive teaching.
During the session, emphasis was placed on understanding the challenges that students with learning difficulties face when learning a foreign language, as well as on identifying effective strategies to support their participation and progress. Through discussion and examples, participants were introduced to inclusive methodologies, interactive teaching techniques, and accessible tools that can be applied in everyday classroom practice.
The workshop also provided a space for reflection and dialogue, allowing educators to share experiences and discuss real classroom situations. The active participation and interest of attendees highlighted the importance of continuous professional development in fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
