ACCESS: Kick off meeting in Montevarchi, Italy

On January 23 and 24, 2025, the Kick off meeting of the European project ACCESS “Addressing Critical Speech Therapist Shortage in Schools” was held with great success and participation at the premises of LEGO in Italy.

The ACCESS Project is a targeted initiative aimed at improving early identification and support for children aged 6–10 with learning difficulties (LDs) such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Recognizing the growing prevalence of LDs and the importance of early intervention, ACCESS empowers primary school teachers with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to detect and manage emerging learning challenges within mainstream classrooms. The project also provides parents with practical guidance to support their children’s learning at home. By fostering strong collaboration between educators and families, ACCESS promotes inclusive education and strives to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full academic and social potential. Read more at https://access-edu.eu/
